Turmeric Tea Terrific!

My Daughter and I have discovered the awesome benefits of turmeric.

Turmeric health benefits include the following:
  • antiseptic for cuts, burns and bruises
  • anti inflamatory agent
  • stomach ailments
  • scar removal
  • antioxidant
  • general skin care
  • acne treatment
  • cancer and liver disorders
  • Alzheimer's disease
  • treatment for depression
  • multiple myeloma and pancreatic cancer
  • colorectal cancer
  • tumors
  • pain reliever
  • weight loss
  • cystic fibrosis
  • multiple sclerosis
  • breast cancer

After learning about it's great qualities, we decided to eat it with many of our dishes. Not only that but we even found a great recipe for turmeric tea!

Turmeric Tea Recipe Directions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil, and add powdered ginger and turmeric.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.Strain the liquid into a clean coffee mug, and add the honey and lemon. Stir to combine, and enjoy!


  1. I bought tumeric for health reasons and then didn't know how to use it or in what? How much do you put in a cup of tea? This I definitely will try. What a combination!

  2. Hello AnfinsenArt, specifically you want to use 2 cups water 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger,
