My Daughter and I have discovered the awesome benefits of turmeric.
Turmeric health benefits include the following:
- antiseptic for cuts, burns and bruises
- anti inflamatory agent

- acne treatment
- cancer and liver disorders
- Alzheimer's disease
- treatment for depression
- multiple myeloma and pancreatic cancer

- multiple sclerosis
- breast cancer
After learning about it's great qualities, we decided to eat it with many of our dishes. Not only that but we even found a great recipe for turmeric tea!
Turmeric Tea Recipe Directions:
- Bring the water to a boil, and add powdered ginger and turmeric.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.Strain the liquid into a clean coffee mug, and add the honey and lemon. Stir to combine, and enjoy!
I bought tumeric for health reasons and then didn't know how to use it or in what? How much do you put in a cup of tea? This I definitely will try. What a combination!
